Heard your making quilts to be distributed to locations in the Southern states affected by the recent disasters. I lead a sewing group at my church and may be interested in giving my ladies an opportunity to join the effort.
Our Ladies make quilts for Lutheran World Relief. We take them (Last year 335 quilts and 45 baby kits) to the semi-trailer in October and from there LWR decides where they are needed most. I am confident that LWR is already helping through the Lutheran churches to help with community needs. Your ladies would be welcome anytime. Our Sewing ladies meet on Wednesday from 1-3pm. Call the church (419-365-5582) ahead of time and I can tell them to make room for more. We currently have 4 ladies who come regularly and a few that help when they can.
