JULY AND AUGUST

The months of July and August are usually a little slower in the church, but things are still cooking at Good Hope.

On Friday, July 18, the annual Arlington Homecoming Festival kicks off with a parade at 6:30 pm. Watch for our float, we’ll have a ton of candy for the kids!

On Sunday, July 20, as the annual Arlington Homecoming Festival begins to wrap up, Good Hope has rented the Arlington swimming pool . . . and made it free to everyone in town! From 6 – 8 pm that evening, the pool will be open, and free, and you would be welcome to bring your family out to enjoy the day on us.

Then on Sunday August 10, during our morning worship, the congregation will be celebrating our 125^th anniversary. Bishop Daniel Beaudoin will be preaching, and honored guests include our former pastor Richard Match, as well as Pastor Eli Seitz, who grew up at Good Hope. Come and be a part!

Finally, sometime in August, football season starts, and we will once again be hosting 5^th Quarter for students after the game. Stay tuned!
